  1. We have here a number of judges from a list of candidaties for the next WORLD-CUP-BRAZLI-2014. Since this year is CONFEDERATION-CUP so someone from this group will be taken into account. There is no Portuguese PEDRO PROENCA here, and Slovenia DAMIR SKOMINA. Portugues judge is a candidatien for the MMS-U-17 in PORTUGAL. Slovenien judge CHAMPIONS-LEAGUE match 1\8 BORUSIA - SHAKHTAR, under the supervision of a member of the FIFA. So SKOMINA is one candidatien for the CONFEDERATION-CUP.

  4. Another bad show by Mark Halsey in Premier League... The amount of horrible mistakes by this referee is scary. Those are mostly mistakes in SFP/VC when the referee must show red card.

    1. Too difficult for me, some questions are really hard.
I should study more the rules of the game.
By the way, there are also too easy questions, for example when it's asked what to do when the same player committs an offside infringement for the sixth time ;)
Surely a red card there :D

      Delete
    2. There is persistent infringing the LoTG in the rule book, so it's good question whether persistently being offside is persistent infringing the LoTG :)

But everybody knows the answer for sure :D

  7. Thanks a lot for that, indeed, that's hard stuff..

  9. I see here already two membersof FIFA.Ivanov for Stark , and Mikkelsen for Clattenburg. Here when it comes to an arbitror from Germany Stark, then I do not think that he was going to CONFEDERATION-CUP, because the judge already in the WORLD-CUP-2010, and ME-2012, and showed up with a weak hand, I bet it's definitely Clattenburg go to CONFEDERETION-CUP, because FINALE-OLIMPIC-GAME, judge very good.To is my tip.

Portugal is not that strong team, they have "only" Cristiano Ronaldo.

  14. Several penalties whistled yesterday, most of them seem to be correct.

    Aytekin:

    Stark:

    (strange gestures prior to whistle)

    Kuipers:
    http://videa.hu/videok/sport/bosnia-vs-greece-31-goals-xBIQ5mQLO48bUy4y
Here I have several doubts, Edward what do you think? The situation appears to me not clear.

    Gautier:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ms4sylqSFyA
(what a stupid foul by defender, the player had already crossed the ball)

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The penalty Kuipers gave is absolutely correct. The defender makes a stupid fall on his opponent's foot catching it. Penalty was given by AR2.

Kuipers was overall good. Some small mistakes but all this doesn't count because yesterday there was only one team playing (Bosnia).

      Delete
    2. I was stunned that the Macedonian defenders complaint at all regarding how clear the penalty was..
Concerning Stark, there are no real gestures prior to his whistles, he only makes a body language which perhaps should underline his mental alertness and that he is closely watching the situations. The 2-2 was to my mind illegal, there was a foul by a striker before Romania scored.
Gautier's penalty and sending-offs are to my mind ok, I try to make a report on his performance.

Kakos with a good performance yesterday, but he could have sent off Dmitrenko for serious foul play (from behind).

      Delete
    3. I also read that this behavior by Macedonian players lasted all match long, because Aytekin (in their opinion) didn't whistle two penalties, at first a handball, then another psossible foul.

    4. I have seen Stark in the second half full. But, to my mind, he wasnt that good at all. As admin has noted, 2-2 goal of Romania is a clear foul by attacker to defender. Stark has seen it perfectly, it is sad that he couldnt solve it.

Both penalty is just ok. But, what theather fell-downs by players: especially Romanian players: summersaults in the air like an acrobat...

    5. Agree Nic with all the penalty assessments. And right, crazy that the MCD players reacted with such surprise - bizarre! YC for dissent perhaps to calm the situation.

Also agree with edward that the Norwegian one should be given - perhaps even Red for DOGSO too.

I want to see more of the penalties given by Gautier too - frequently we see the foul just as the player releases the ball, but referees not confident in selling the decision. Poor delay by Gautier but assisted well by AR1.

Agree with Nic that the Frenchman needs to work on his control and charisma - very talented but you just feel a little coaching with his presence could work wonders ...

    6. A very clear given penalty by Kuipers. No doubt! Good teamwork.

    7. Hi Nikos, excellent remark about Gautier.
Not all the referees are accustomed to whistle this kind of penalty, when the ball is already kicked by the fouled player. I share your opinion and I would like to see more referees acting in this way. There isn't still a consistency about that.
Here in Italy in our serie A many cases like this happened, and there were big discussion. For example a penalty whistled by Orsato in Lazio-Cagliari, absolutely correct, when the keeper fouled the player after having already kicked the ball.
It seems a trivial thing but it isn't.

      Delete
    8. I remember the call you mean Chefren. But there, it was a bit different. The goalkeeper came naturally out (he had to do that) and was unable to escape the contact after the striker played the ball a few moments of a second before..this foul was just rude, mistimed and could have entailed even a straight red card.

      Delete
    9. Yes, right, by the way I wanted just to underline that some referees follow always the ball and they don't whistle if a player is fouled after having passed or shot.

      Delete
    10. I understood, I agree with you and Nikos in that way.
